Creamy Hot Chocolate
INGREDIENTS
250ml Almond Milk
1 Tablespoon Maca Powder
1 Tablespoon Raw Cacao Powder + extra (to serve, optional)
2 Fresh Dates, pitted
1 Teaspoon of Maple Syrup
1/2 Teaspoon Grated Nutmeg
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon + extra (to serve, optional)
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cardamom
1/4 Teaspoon Chilli Powder/Cayenne Pepper
A Pinch of Sea Salt
1 Tablespoon Virgin Organic Coconut Oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Bring the milk to the boil in a stainless steel saucepan over a medium heat. Once boiled, reduce to a simmer for 3 minutes. Turn the heat off, add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
Add this warm mixture to your high-powered blender and blend.
Pour into your favourite mug, sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon or raw cacao powder and sip away!
