Vegan French Toast

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds

  • 1/2 Tablespoon Maple Syrup

  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 4 Slices Sourdough Bread

  • Toppings of choice : Coconut Yoghurt, Berries, Maple Syrup, Sliced Banana, Coconut Cream

  • Coconut Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients (except the bread)in a deep bowl.

  2. Place in fridge for 15 minutes.

  3. Dip and soak each slice of bread in the batter for 20-25 seconds.

  4. Heat Teaspoon on Coconut oil in pan. Cook until golden brown underneath then carefully flip over and cook until golden brown on the other side.

  5. Top with desired toppings and enjoy!
