Chocolate Granola

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 Cup (50gr) Chopped Raw Nuts (Almonds, Pecans, and/or Walnuts are my favourite)

  • 1/2 Cup (50gr) Mixed Seeds (I like Pumpkin Seeds)

  • 1/4 Cup (20gr) Shredded Unsweetened Coconut

  • 2 Tablespoons (20gr) Chia Seeds

  • 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt

  • 1/3 Cup (30gr) Cocoa Powder

  • 1/4 Cup (60gr) Coconut Oil

  • 1/2 Cup (120ml) Maple Syrup

  • 1/2 Cup (90gr) Vegan Dark Sugar Free Chocolate Chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 180C

  2. Add the oats, nuts, seeds, coconut, chia seeds, salt and cocoa powder in a bowl. Stir to combine.

  3. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the coconut oil and maple syrup until melted and combined.

  4. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix or stir well.

  5. Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking sheet and bake for 15-25 minutes (or until fragrant and deep golden brown), stirring a bit near the halfway point to ensure even baking.

  6. Let cool completely. Then add chocolate. Place in a container that has an air-tight seal, and it will keep for a few weeks.
